PROTECH launches a class-leading technology product - the ER-12LF which utilizes the RMI AU1250 processor. In the embedded computing industry, PROTECH has developed embedded CPU board for more than 20 years. This RISC CPU module features low power consumption and cost-efficiency, to fulfill the requirements of rugged and more cost-focused applications.

The module has 5 COM ports (5 RS-232), 1 USB2.0 host, 1 USB2.0 OTG, 8-port Digital I/O ( 4 Digital in / 4 digital out ), 10/100 Ethernet, to connect and control peripheral devices. IDE and 1 SDIO slots allow(1 external SDIO expansion ). The CPU frequency is at 500MHz and allows great performance. In addition, the ER-12LF can work with the Super Mpeg Chipset, which not only provides MPEG12/4 and H.263 WMV9 video decoding.

Some other notable features include AC ¡¦97 Codec, CIF Camera, support for 4-wire resistive touch screens and an wide power input range of +9V to +36V DC. This board was designed to support Windows CE.NET 5.0. and Linux 2.6.
