The OFC-7500, which is based on the Intel® Socket 478 standard, comes with a choice of either the Intel® Pentium® M or Celeron® M CPU, and can operate at clock speed of 1.8GHz, giving it the ability to work in a variety of multitasking environments. The unit's raw processing power, when mated to the 10.4" LCD touch screen, means the OFC-7500 can function as a stand-alone unit in a retail situation or as part of a factory network. Accordingly, the unit supports up to 1GB of SDRAM via a 200-pin DDR SO-DIMM memory base. Parallel and serial ports are provided to maximize data input and throughput. Additionally, the OFC-7500 has two USB ports and two keyboard/mouse ports, so that it can function as a workstation or consumer system.
The LCD touch screen is another remarkable aspect of the OFC-7500. Featuring a resolution of up to 800 x 600 pixels and an operating temperature range of 0oC ¡V 40oC, the unit can operate safely in even the harshest industrial situation while providing clear, color-accurate images. With its VESA mounting system the unit can be installed on any flat vertical surface, while the front bezel is removable for easier maintenance and different decoration.
