For the third consecutive year, Protech has won the coveted "2006 Taiwan Symbol of Excellence", making it the only industrial computer manufacturers to successively achieve such a feat. This year's 381 award winners are picked from hundreds of thousands Taiwan manufacturing products. Taiwan Excellence Award is praised the product with the significant advantages of R&D/Innovation, Design Innovation, Quality Systems, Marketing and Brand Awareness. Three of our products received the honor. They are PMB-441LF, Industrial motherboard, PPC-736XF, Fanless Panel PC and Tabletop KIOSK.

The PMB-441 adopts Intel® 915 GV/ICH6 chipset with 800MHz FSB and supports Intel® Pentium® 4/LGA 775 processor. It is an extremely flexible industry-level motherboard. It features one PCI Express x 16, two PCI Express, one EPCI and three PCI slots. With plentiful bus interfaces, users can install additional function cards with no efforts. Due to the excellent computing and graphic performance, users will experience high quality video resolution and sound effect. The PMB-441 is an ideal solution for kiosk, slot machine, video storage server and related applications.

The PPC-736XF series is the latest industrial-grade Panel PCs which are all engineered by VIA Eden 733MHz low power consumption processor. The triplets produce less heat for fanless application but maintain an above-than-average performance. The model comes with three different LCD sizes, 8.4", 10.4" and 15". With its compact size and low noise performance, it truly answers the demands from space-saving and silent operating environments.

The Tabletop KIOSK is the digital photo & self service kiosk equipped with Intel Pentium M processor. It features many advanced functions including 802.11 b/g WLAN capability, 11-in-1 card reader, thermal printer and DVD burner. It is also a space saving solution which is easy to fit in many different environments. The model can be also connected with external peripherals like printer and camera, offering a flexible and expandable solution for integrators.

By winning the Taiwan Excellence Award, it proves the R&D capability and manufacturing quality of Protech.
