Featuring a fanless design and low power consumption of only 5.5 W (Celeron® M processor) or 10 W (Pentium® M processor), the high-performance ISA-562LF is an ideal platform for temperature-critical systems, interactive kiosks, factory automation, CNCs and mid-range controllers. The ISA-562LF's low-power design reduces over-all operating costs, improves heat management and offers high performance per watt operation.

Great Integrated Graphics, Performance and Fanless Reliability

The ISA-562LF deploys the Intel® 855GME and ICH4 chipsets to form a high-bandwidth 400 MHz Front Side Bus and boasts a complete graphics package via the Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 technology. Supporting an 18-/36-bit LVDS LCD interface and display output on CRT monitors, the ISA-562LF is fit for a variety of interactive content-driven terminals, control and automation processes. Applications requiring high-level and robust memory will benefit from ISA-562LF's DDR architecture capable of supporting up to 1 GB DDR 333 MHz SODIMM modules.

In addition to the onboard IDE connector, the ISA-562LF has an IDE Type II CompactFlash slot for external storage for storing, transferring, and upgrading data in high-vibration and extreme computing environments. The CPU card also comes with a PC/104 slot to promote seamless expansion for future system upgrades and presents a 1 to 255-sec selectable watchdog timer with reset or NMI functionality.

The ISA-562LF offers a complete line of I/O interfaces including two high-speed USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232/422/485 for 16550-compatible UART, one RS-232, a parallel port, a serial infrared port, and an Intel®-based 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port.
