Operating at 133 MHz Front Side Bus and supporting up to 512 MB PC100/133 SODIMM SDRAM, the EB-381LF incorporates a fanless architecture in a compact form factor ideal for rapid integration with space-critical embedded and industrial computing chassis. The EB-381LF is equipped with an IDE Type II CompactFlash slot for OS support and data integrity when used in high-vibration and harsh computing environments. PC/104 support allows for seamless and off-the-shelf expansion for feature add-on and upgrades.

Integrated Performance
The VIA Mark CoreFusion™ CPU delivers strong computing muscle for the most rigorous industrial computing, automation and multimedia demands. With the onboard VIA 8606 integrated graphics engine, the EB-381LF supports various display interfaces including CRT, TTL, and LVDS display output vital for POS, interactive kiosks and medical applications. The EB-381LF comes with a 16-level selectable watchdog timer and reset/NMI functionality.

The EB-381LF offers a complete line of I/O interfaces including two USB 1.1 ports, one RS-232/422/485 for 16550-compatible UART, one RS-232, a parallel port, a serial infrared port, and a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port. Audio is provided by AC'97 VIA VT1612A codec that supports the line-in, line-out, and MIC jacks. In addition to the CompactFlash slot, a 44-pin IDE connector is available for connecting a high-capacity 2.5" hard disk drive for much-needed storage space.
