The latest industrial-grade Panel PCs are all engineered by VIA Eden 733MHz processor which is well-known by low power consumption. With its compact size and low noise performance, it truly answers the demands from space-saving and silent operating environments.
¡½ Naming Rule
The model numbers for the Panel PC are PPC-7368F, PPC-7360F and PPC-7365F. Their panel sizes are 8.4", 10.4" and 15" respectively. The last digit of model number stands for the LCD size. Also, the last letter, F, is shorthand for Fanless. The naming rule offers an easy way for clients to memorize product models.
¡½ Fanless Technology
The triplets are all designed with VIA platform. The fanless architecture is built by VIA Eden processor and VIA VT8606 Northbridge. It produces less heat than other processor but maintains an above-than-average performance. The major benefit of fanless design is to reduce the failure caused by fan and extend the operation life. Furthermore, all series is equipped with DC power input which offers more space for computing chassis and eliminates the heat from the power supply.
¡½ Rich Expandability
Although it's compact, Protech engineers never forgot the expandability. It¡¦s equipped with 2 x USB, 1 x Parallel, 2 x Serial (+5/+12), 2 x keyboard/mouse and 1 x Gbit LAN ports. Users are allowed to connect different peripherals and networks. Furthermore, all the PPC-736XF series is incorporated with 1 x slim HDD and 1 x CF slot with IDE interface. Users are allowed to install Embedded OS such as Windows CE.NET and XP Embedded in CF card which is easy to switch through the left side slot. Slim CD-ROM is also an optional accessory for PPC-7365F model.
¡½ Durable Application
The PPC-736XF series is built with electro galvanized steel chassis and aluminum front bezel. It has acquired NEMA 4 and IP65 rating and guarantees to work under humid and dust environments. It's also designed for a high storage temperature at 60¢XC (140¢XF) and operating temperature from -20¢XC (-4¢XF) up to 40¢XC (104¢XF). The rugged construction undoubtedly keeps you away from computing failure.
