Protech Systems' once again manifest how creative our R&D team is. The PSB-1688 offers world's first full size card with high speed DDR SDRAM, which is twice the speed of normal SDRAM. DDR memory provides roughly a 15% boost in performance compared to regular SDRAM. With the high bandwidth of DDR memory, the PSB-1688 shows excellent performance and powerful functions, making it the one of best total solutions in the market.
The PSB-1688 is based on the Socket 370 design that supports Intel Celeron, Pentium III and VIA C3 processors running up to 1.26GB. This full size CPU card supports up to 2GB memory integrated two 184-pin DDR DIMM sockets. And with an additional socket for the Compact Flash bootable IDE-compatible flash memory module, the PSB-1688 ensures exceptional expansion capabilities. The PSB-1688 includes VIA CLE266 chipset with built-in VGA function, it can support multiple displays including CRT, TTL, and DVI. Also equipped Realtek RTL8100BL chip onboard, which provides PSB-1688 10/100 Mbps Ethernet speed, and wake-on-LAN functions. The powerful functions and reliable performance are reply to customer responses and again, the proof of Protech Systems capability both in RD and manufacturing.
With other mainstream functions, the PSB-1688 also provides four USB 2.0 ports that enable high-speed serial communication up to 480Mbps(40 times the speed of USB1.1) for high performance peripherals with ease of use.
