With decades experiences and technology, Protech Systems is proud to unveil the new ATX form factor motherboard, PMB-421, with the latest Intel® Pentium 4 processor and Intel® 875P chipset. PMB-421 is going to be the best solution for embedded applications such as gaming, kiosks, communication server, Point of Sale (POS), etc.
PMB-421 supports Hyper-Threading Technology, utilizing the Intel® Pentium 4 processor, and provides memory supports up to 4 GB DDR DRAM and also features Intel® 875P+6300ESB chipset, which supports CPU up to 3.2GHz with front side bus running at 533MHz or 800MHz, also integrated 8X AGP graphics engine for an advanced graphics experience. Besides, PMB-421 supports four high speed USB2.0 and six the latest Serial ATA interfaces (two SATA ports are provided by 6300ESB and another four SATA ports are added with RAID capability) that accelerate the speed of data transaction. An enhanced AC '97 audio implementation with dual independent DMA audio engines delivers improved sound quality. PMB-421 provides high speed networking availability as well, onboard Intel® 82547GI supports 266MB CSA interface and Intel® 82546EB supports PCI-X interface at running speed of 64 bits\66MHz and dual giga LAN ports, thus, PMB-421 can provides up to three Base Tx Ethernet ports at real 1G speed.
A faster processor needs faster and wider network connections in order to fulfill their promise of delivering a competitive edge. Therefore, PMB-421 provides strong expansion capability, integrated two 64bits PCI-X interfaces that have a higher frequency and wider bus extension of the PCI bus mostly targeted to support server and high-end workstation applications. Besides, two high bandwidth PCI-X interfaces, PMB-421 also provides 1 AGP, 1 EPCI and 4 PCI interfaces.
Other features of PMB-421 include two IDE interfaces, one FDD, four serial ports, one parallel port, four USB2.0, one IrDA port, keyboard, mouse connectors and three giga LAN ports.
